PRODUCT FEATURES
• Sustane is a natural organic fertilizer made of litter-based turkey waste, hydrolyzed feathermeal, sulphate of potash, sulphate of iron and/or iron oxisulphate. This product was prepared from a biologically active compost by a unique controlled aerobic process. Research has shown that Sustane ® stimulates soil micro-biological activity.

TURF BENEFITS
• A decomposed organic matter ready to immediately enter the soil cycle.
• Sustane ® provides a predictable slow-release organic nitrogen of which 45% is released over two weeks and the remaining nitrogen at the rate of about 5% per week from the third to the ninth week. The release longevity of all fertilizers is reduced by temperatures above 20 oC.
• Sustane ® has been extensively evaluated by the University of Wisconsin on three golf greens, and also by Michigan State University, and Iowa State University.
• Sustane ® has the ability to minimize several turfgrass diseases according to works conducted at the following universities: University of Guelph, Cornell University, Michigan State University and the University of Rhode Island. The diseases studied over a three-year period were Rhizoctonia brown patch, necrotic ring spot, summer patch, red thread, gray snow mold and Pythium root rot.
• Its content in humic acids is highly beneficial to turf physiology in strengthening the root mass and shoot density.
• One gram of Sustane ® contains over 1.5 million beneficial bacteria which help in thatch decomposition.
