Crystal BlueLinks had the highest turf quality, averaged across all locations, during 2006 in the 2003 NTEP fairway/tee trial. It also performed very well in turf trials mowed at 0.5" in North Carolina and Oregon. Crystal BlueLinks has a different blue-green color and is recommended for fairways, tees, and greens. In North Carolina, Crystal BlueLinks has shown good resistance to brown patch and dollar spot mowed at 0.5". It has also shown good heat tolerance. Recommended seeding rate is 1.5 lbs/1,000 sq ft for new planting and 0.1 to 0.5 lbs/1,000 sq ft for interseeding.
